Making routine cleaning easier
At one resort-style property, the manager found it time-consuming to vacuum the pool with a traditional hose and vacuum head.
Matt introduced him to a portable battery-powered pool vacuum that clips onto the pool pole. It made the pool much quicker and easier to vacuum between professional services, saving the manager considerable time.
Finding the cause of a drainage problem
At another property, backwashing the filter caused nearby drains to overflow, washing sand and dirty water back into the pool.
Matt traced the problem to blocked drains that had been covered by garden beds. Once the drains were located, exposed and cleaned, backwashing no longer sent debris back into the pool.
It was a useful reminder that the obvious pool symptom is not always caused by the pool equipment itself.
