We have worked in this part of the Sunshine Coast since 2017, looking after everything from small private pools on compact blocks to larger resort-style pools and spas.

The area includes permanent homes, rental properties, holiday accommodation and resorts. Effective pool care starts with understanding the property, how the pool is used and how its equipment performs.

Pool care that suits the property

Mooloolaba and Alexandra Headland contain a broad mixture of pools and properties.

Some are larger resort-style pools and spas that receive heavy guest use, particularly during weekends, school holidays and peak visitor periods. Others are small private pools built into compact residential or holiday properties.

Dense development can mean limited parking, narrow access and pool equipment installed wherever space was available. Some Alexandra Headland properties are also sloping or elevated, with equipment positioned above or below the pool.

Proximity to the ocean and waterways can leave exposed properties open to wind. Palm trees are common throughout the area, bringing fronds, seed pods and other organic material into and around pools.

These conditions do not affect every property in the same way. A heavily used resort pool has very different needs from a small private pool, even when they are only a few streets apart.

Regular pool servicing without the fuss

Our regular servicing is designed for homeowners and property managers who want their pool kept clean, balanced and working properly.

A typical service can include water testing and balancing, pool and basket cleaning, checking filtration and circulation, inspecting pumps and chemical-control equipment and making sure the pool cleaner is operating effectively.

Holiday and short-stay pools may experience sharp increases in use during busy periods. This can quickly affect water quality and chemical demand, especially in smaller pools and combined pool-and-spa systems.

Where safe access has been arranged, we can generally service the pool without the owner being present. We can also work with real estate agents and property managers responsible for holiday accommodation.

Local experience that goes back years

Clarity has been servicing pools in Mooloolaba and Alexandra Headland since 2017.

Our experience includes private homes, real estate-managed properties, holiday accommodation and resort pools, along with routine servicing, water-quality problems and equipment repairs.

Following flooding across the Coast, Alexandra Headland customer Paula contacted us during a particularly busy period. Matt fitted the job into the schedule, arrived with the supplies needed and had the pool ready to use that day.

“He got my pool looking beautiful and ready to swim in on the day he visited.”

Paula also appreciated being able to leave the ongoing care to Clarity rather than managing every part of the pool herself.

Improving chemical control at a resort pool

We look after a local resort with a combined pool and spa that receives heavy guest use.

When Clarity took over the property, its liquid chlorine and acid dosing system was difficult to keep stable. Sensors required frequent calibration, resulting in periods of excessive or insufficient dosing and complaints from guests about red eyes and irritated skin.

Matt changed the feeders to operate for carefully controlled periods each day rather than relying on the troublesome sensor control. The dosing could then be adjusted according to the pool’s actual requirements and monitored during regular servicing.

The result has been more consistent water quality, substantially lower chemical use and no further guest complaints about the pool since Clarity took over its care.

It shows that replacing an entire system is not always the first answer. Sometimes the better solution comes from understanding the existing equipment and finding a more dependable way to operate it.

More than routine cleaning

As well as regular servicing, we help Mooloolaba and Alexandra Headland pool owners and property managers with:

  • Pump, filter and chlorinator problems

  • Liquid chemical-dosing systems

  • Chlorinator cell replacement

  • Automatic pool cleaner repairs and upgrades

  • Cartridge-to-sand-filter conversions

  • Low-flow and circulation problems

  • Leak and water-loss investigation

  • Green pool recovery

  • Equipment repairs and replacements

The area contains both newer systems and older equipment that may need progressive repair or replacement. We recommend solutions that suit the pool rather than replacing equipment unnecessarily.
